- Please don’t let any of the tips below discourage you from letting us work on your fiber. We will always try to find a solution for you.
- Fiber staples need to be 3 inches long anything shorter or fragile (wool break) will need to be mixed up to 50% (but not limited) of a longer fiber like alpaca.
- 100% Suri is not recommended because it makes a very heavy cord like yarn, please consider mixing with wool or Huacaya alpaca.
- Our machines cannot remove stickers; they will only crush them. If you want us to remove the stickers we charge $15 and hour.
- We can skirt your fleece(s) for you. $30 per fleece. Ideally skirting should be done at shearing time.
